Volunteer at the Ticonderoga Early Learning Center and help with miscellaneous maintenance jobs around the building. Such as lawn care, weeding, change light bulbs, assemble children's equipment. Volunteers need to complete a background check.

Silver Bay YMCA
Come volunteer as a Substitute Teacher at the Ticonderoga Early Learning Center and help cover classrooms, give staff breaks and assist in the infant room by feeding, rocking and changing children. Volunteers must complete background check and obtain fingerprinting as required by regulations. Upon registering for this position, the Education Director will contact you for further details and scheduling.

The Early Learning Center is looking for volunteers to help with various tasks around the center such as Door Greeter, Clerical Work, Teacher's Helper, Preparing Meals for Children, Organizing Children's Room, Preparing Materials and Games for Children. Volunteers must complete a background check.

Weekend Warriors are a group a volunteers that help us serve our guests throughout the Fall. Silver Bay provides lodging and meals and asks you to volunteer in one of our services areas. Volunteers check in Friday and can check out either Sunday (after their last shift) or Monday. Housing is based on availability and maybe shared bath within staff dormitories. Please make sure to sign up for the following: Friday: 1 Food Service Shift Saturday - Sign up for one of the following: 3 Food Service Shifts(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 1 Food Service Shift (Breakfast) and 1 Program Shift (Afternoon) Sunday: 2 Food Service Shifts (Breakfast and Lunch) Please contact Carolyn Close directly at the below email, if you are looking to volunteer for longer we have opportunities that can last up to 2 weeks.
